WLC Online Auctions app for iPhone and iPad

Bid on lots ranging from home furnishings, signed footballs, fine art, prestige watches, diamond jewellery and anything in between! All lots are entered into our auction on ‘unreserved’ agreements with our vendors. More often than not, this means that they sell for a fraction of the retail price and that we can offer buyers the opportunity to buy at less than even wholesale price.

Registering
Before you bid you have to register with us, accept our terms & conditions and enter your credit card details via the website (www.wlconlineauctions.co.uk). Payment for lots won will be taken within 48 hours of the end of the auction.

About WLC
WLC Auctions has been running sell-out live auctions since 2012. WLC Auctions have held hundreds of sell-out live auction events across the UK attracting audiences of over 1000 buyers. We launched our Online Auction (www.wlconlineauctions.co.uk) in November 2017 allowing people to bid from anywhere, anytime. Now we are making our new online app available in the App Store.

Bidding
This online auction site works as a forward auction (also known as a ’Timed Auction’): bidding for an item starts with an opening price determined by the auctioneer and bids are placed by bidders in increments above the previous bid. At the end of the auction, the highest bid wins.

Bidding is made in one of two ways. You either bid at the next increment by pressing the "Bid" button and then pressing "Confirm" to confirm you wish to place the bid. Or you can bid at a higher amount than the current increment and enter your own bid amount (as long as it is greater than or equal to the current bid plus the minimum increment) in to the box by the "Bid" button, press "Bid" and then confirm your bid by pressing "Confirm". Your bid will then be placed in the system and you and all bidders will see the change in current bid when using the app or the website.

Auto Bidding
You may, if you wish, place an "auto bid" which sets a maximum amount they wish to bid to. Bids will be placed on your behalf by the auction platform in the smallest increment possible up to your maximum bid, making sure you stay ahead of the bidding automatically. Autobidding also gives you the opportunity to set your highest desired purchase price and then sit back and wait to see if you were able to secure the lot at that price.

Have I won or lost?
You will receive an email from us about lots you have won with a link to the lot.

Multiple stock items
If you have won a lot with multiple stock items you can select the quantity you would like. If you have not selected the quantity within 12 hours of the end of the auction, we will assume you want just one stock item. The remaining items will be made available to other interested buyers at the same hammer price.
